Finding the Right Mentor for You

So you now have a burning desire to become your own private eye. Good! Now, you’re scratching your head wondering, “There are many training schools and training materials out there. Boy! Which ones are the best?”

Yes, it could be an overwhelming prospect. The number of information available online and offline is innumerable and the training centers claiming to be the best are just as much. Don’t fret. The reality is you could do a lot better learning things on your own. But if you really want the best that you can become, you can actually pick any of the seasoned private eyes and have them as your mentor. That’s right. Who better to teach you than those who have been there, done that, right?

You can go to your nearest bookstore and find a book about private investigation written by a real private investigator or you can search online for Internet courses on the subject. You can also look for academies run by private investigators. One of the best ways to really learn from them is if you could get them to sit down with you for an interview, obtaining as much info as you can from them on how to become a successful sleuth. They’d be very much delighted to talk about their experiences.

Look around and see if you could find the best mentor for you.
