With technical surveillance as a primary way for monitoring certain conditions in the society to uphold legalities as mandated by law, some people think that many abuse this privilege.  And with super advanced technologies that continue to thrive in the industry, many people gain better access to telephone conversations, e-mail, computer files, and voice mails that contain important information.

Throughout recent years, various countermeasures had been researched to deal with technical surveillance activities.  Hence, many people believe that with the state-of-the-art technology that we have right now, the threat to one’s privacy and pertinent information is at hand.

1.  Physical inspection

Most private investigators neglect this part of the job because they consider this as the most unglamorous technique, with all those crawling and stuffs like that.

With this technique, you can easily detect possible wire tapping activities by checking on ceilings, furniture, cabinets, office equipments, art objects, and spaces where connection facilities can be assembled.
