Investigate Birth Records and Find the Birth of Knowledge

Living in the 21st Century and Still no Birth Records?

The idea of not actually knowing when you were born seems like something that should have been left in the last century, or even the one before that.  The way things are done today, every one should have an awareness of his or her birth records, but the sad fact is that not everyone does.

Finding the Actual Birth Record Certificate

There are still far too many people who fall through the cracks in this country, through no fault of their own.  It is rare that anyone gets to choose her parents, and sometimes those parents are far from what we would have picked.

It seems like the stuff of fiction, children abandoned in alleys, or stolen or raised by people who, for one reason or another, were not their parents.  Unfortunately, in many of these cases, there may be little or no official information regarding a birth.  This is troublesome not only if you’re trying to figure out who you are, but for a lot of official reasons as well.  There are many things you need birth records for.

Sources of Birth Documentation

However, a lack official documentation doesn’t mean a total absence of information.  If you are searching for your birth records, there’s more than one place to look.  There are online sources, newspaper archives that make note of births, as well as personal papers.

It can require quite a bit of work, but if you want to find your birth records, knowing when and where and how to look will answer those questions you’ve been asking all your life.
