How to Do Boyfriend Background Check in the Privacy of Your Own Home–He’ll Never Know

It may seem a bit paranoid (and that is okay) but doing a boyfriend background check is not a bad idea. The statistic is astounding. When one out of three women are raped in their lives, it does not sound like paranoia to me, especially when you can do a simple background check to see if the guy you want to go out with has a history.

The quickest and easiest way to check to see if your potential date has a history of sex crimes is to check the National Sex Offender Registry. This is actually a free list that you can check by either by name or by where you live. Since you are checking on your potential date, just type in his name and see if he pops up.

Boyfriend Criminal Check
Assuming the guy isn’t a registered sex offender, you will want to check his criminal history. This is easily done by typing his name into a criminal records database. You can find out if he has any type of criminal background.

While a criminal history does not mean you shouldn’t date a guy, it does let you know what you are getting into. After all, we have all done things we are not proud of doing. However, if you are seeing a pattern, it is a good thing to know.

Boyfriend Background Check
The background check fills in all the missing details. A guy that has no criminal history will have a background and this will tell you what you need to know. It gives you an idea of work history. (Can he hold a job or is he a flake?)

You can expect to find:

  • Property he owns
  • Credit History
  • Bankruptcy
  • Marriages (Hopefully NOT!)
  • Divorces
  • Employment
  • Warrants (again let’s hope not!)

Boyfriend Background Checks Paranoid or Safe?
Some may think that dating is all about taking risks and it is to a point. However, do you need to take a risk by dating a married man? Do you need to take a risk by dating a known sex offender? You can prevent taking these risks by doing a simple boyfriend background check in the privacy of your own home. It takes only a few minutes and it saves your heart so much trouble. Therefore, I say, “Paranoid? I think not.”
